Free admission to biggest bazaar south of Manila
MANILA, Philippines - The St. James the Great Christmas Bazaar, now on its 19th year, will be held for four days with free entrance from Friday to Monday, Nov. 26, 27, 28 and 29, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Cuenca Community Center and St. James parking lot, Ayala Alabang Village.
It is the biggest in the south of Manila with more than 470 concessionaires and an enormous variety of products to meet every Christmas shopping list.
Products range from holiday foods for gift-giving to Christmas décor, beautifully crafted home décor, wrought iron, native and imported bags, toys, shoes, Filipino ethnic products and handicrafts, Christmas packaging and wrappers, decorative candles, paintings, silver jewelry, overruns of men’s, ladies and children’s clothes, accessories, sculptures and many more.
The bazaar is a conglomeration of manufacturers, exporters, importers and traders from all over the Philippines, like Davao, Cebu, Zamboanga, Bicol, Iloilo, Baguio, Pampanga, Quezon, Bulacan, Laguna and Batangas.
The Food Pavilion will be participated in by well-known eateries such as Las Paellas, Tapa King, Brothers Burger, Barrio Fiesta, Don Henrico’s, Serye Restaurant, Fish & Co., Yellow Cab, Ellie’s Roasted Calf, Bambu Thai Restaurant, Coolman Halo-Halo, Potato Corner, Yohgurt Fruz and several others with Bibingkinitan and Smokeys Hotdogs as sponsors. Official drinks are Coca-Cola and Viva Water.
Proceeds of the bazaar will be for the benefit of the St. James Foundation.
The chairpersons for the event are the mother-daughter team of Mimi and Nikki Valerio. Committee members are Manny Gonzales, president of the St. James Foundation; Ricky Presa, parish pastoral council president; Edza Gonzales; Titang Montinola; and Msgr. Ernie Joaquin, parish priest.
The highlight of the bazaar will be a grand raffle with TV sets, DVD players and other valuable items as prizes.
Citibank Rustan’s Credit Card is a major sponsor. However, all MasterCard and Visa credit cards will be accepted. ATM machines and mobile ATMs will be available to service shoppers.
Free shuttle service will be provided for all shoppers from the bazaar venue to their parked cars.
