World-renowned Brazilian musician Eumir Deodato captivated the hearts of his Filipino fans when he recently performed at the Grand Ballroom of the Dusit Thani Manila, which was also chosen the official residence of “Deodato: The Whirlwind Tour 2010” for its world-class facilities and impeccable service. Clad in his classic white suit jacket and iconic black jazz glasses, Eumir brought the house down with his sensational act for guests composed of business tycoons, celebrities and political leaders including US Ambassador Harry Thomas and Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Guests were truly delighted by the musical feast that was made even more enjoyable with the delectable dinner buffet that only the Dusit Thani Manila can offer.

The ever-successful businesswoman and National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW) chairperson Myrna Yao recently celebrated her birthday at the upscale lounge and dining hub Society Lounge at the Atrium of Makati. Myrna’s dearest friends enjoyed the finest wine and champagne that went perfectly well with the exquisite culinary treats prepared by general manager chef Patrice Freuslon such as cheese gratin with almond salad balsamic vinegar, crunchy salmon roll and chutney kiwi, salad with fresh tuna sashimi, small candy foie gras with apples, grilled scallops covered with bacon and stuffed calamari, and beef salpicao.
