Manila welcomes Andalucia

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton -

From the artistic, cultural and financial capital of southern Spain, Sevilla, the Galeón “Andalucia” recently arrived in the port of Manila to participate in the Expo 2010. The crew of 36 was met by local authorities led by Spanish Ambassador Luis Arias, Fundación Victoria Nao president, Juan Miguel Salas and Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim who bestowed to the crew the symbolic key to the City. To further celebrate the arrival of Galeón Andalucia, Ambassador Luis Arias hosted a reception on board for guests from the government and diplomatic corps as well as members of the Philippine and Spanish society. Bienvenido a Filipinas!

Psychedelic, hippie and fun

The ageless beauty Lani Jubac Schoof, philanthropist wife of German national Hans Gunter Schoof, and loving mother to beautiful children Frederick Christian and Katrina Christel Marie Schoof-Chu, recently marked her birthday with a hippie, psychedelic bash inspired by the care-free days and golden music of the ’60s. Held at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay, the affair was filled with family and close friends who all came to wish the celebrator the best in life. The party lasted till the wee hours with revelers enjoying the delectable cuisine, premium wines, and superb entertainment. Everyone truly had a blast!
