With Ann Puno’s kitchen expertise in coming up with gourmet dishes, the couple’s select friends relished the exquisite array of food that made Rene’s 55th birthday an affair to remember. The excellent menu matched with the lively vibe of an evening with dear friends Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Integrity — Board officer lawyer Daisy Arce, Vicky Zubiri and fashion gurus Inno Sotto, Ito Curata and Lulu Tan Gan — surely completed one of the best celebrations ever for Rene.
A cinematic French experience
A roster of notable personalities and celebrities recently made their way to premier lifestyle destination Shangri-La Plaza for the opening night of the annual French Film Festival, held this year at the Shang Cineplex Cinema 4. The festival was officially opened by ambassador from France, his excellency Thierry Borja de Mozota and Shangri-la executive vice president and general manager Lala Fojas. Now in its 15th year, the French Film Fest has done it again – offering a variety of cinematic masterpieces for the viewing pleasure and appreciation the mall’s loyal patrons, shoppers, and of course, film aficionados. Gracing the affair were French Embassy’s counselor for cooperation and cultural affairs Christian Mérer and Instituto Cervantes director Jose Rodriguez to name a few.
