PSID mounts 'Caleidoscope' Oct. 3 to 31 at Eastwood

-

MANILA, Philippines - In its 43rd year, the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) proudly showcases “Caleidoscope,” the graduation exhibit of the PSID Advanced Class of 2010, which runs from Oct. 3 to 31 at the Athena Building, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City.

In cooperation with Eastwood City, “Caleidoscope” focuses on the four C’s: color, character, cause and cost, design elements that challenged the batch to create 18 classy and creative interiors that are cost-efficient as well.

Color unifies the booths, which take the audience through the vibrant spectrum of hues in the color wheel. Each booth focuses on a single hue, using tints and shades to bring out the sophistication of the booths.

Each booth is masterfully designed to showcase character, using different motifs that reflect the students’ skills in creating functional, livable and aesthetic interior spaces.

Cause comes through in design solutions that explain the psychology behind the booth, while Cost is presented with the range of cost options available for each booth.

PSID brings interior design a notch higher each year, presenting exhibits that challenge the graduating batch to showcase their repertoire of design skills and the PSID mark of excellence. This year’s batch promises to rise beyond expectations with “Caleidoscope,” a show of imagination and innovation.
