The good life awaits in Georgia

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton -

Leading real estate company Brittany Corporation recently unveiled The Georgia Club Sales Office in a grand blessing ceremony along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay link. Led by Brittany chief operating officer Mary Lee Sadiasa and Vista Land corporate communications head Camille Villar, guests were treated to a tour of the new sales office. With homes inspired by the beauty of the American South, Georgia Club is a sprawling 15-hectare community in the bustling city of Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Homeowners will surely experience the airy homes that exude a feel of the American Southern life by visiting the Georgia Club Sales Office. Seen during the event were Vista Land chief operating officer Beth Tolentino, marketing head Mina Cuison, technical head engineer Earl Millanes, homeowners and special guests. Cheers to another milestone for Brittany!

Celebrating a blessed life

The effervescent New Yorker Jesusa Calanog was recently overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from family and friends as she celebrated her birthday in Manila, after a long while since moving to the Big Apple. The grand celebration was excellently organized by supportive husband Tony, charming daughter Nona Lopez, and affable sister-in-law Fe Calanog Ona. Aside from the lip-smacking whole roast calf gifted by brother lawyer Rodolfo “Popo” De Leon, the celebrator was truly delighted with the surprise dance exhibition of cha cha prepared by her former group in Dance Time led by Chito Feliciano and the enthralling live music by Nonoy Lopez. Highlighting the affair was Jesusa’s winning dance number with good buddies Mari Borao, John Gaddi, Sonny Tanchanco and Renee Henson that had everyone applauding from their seats. What a great party indeed! Happy Birthday, Jesusa!

One great musical feast

Flute fans are in for a treat as the Filfest Cultural Foundation opens “Season 3: Ensembles of 8 Tutti Flutti”, a concert of eight flutists led by Tony Maigue with Antonio Ruiz Maigue, Rodil Bautista, Hercules Santiago, Dan Dexter Alvarez, Geraldine Padilla, Jezer Mechilina, John Parungao, and Raymond Sarreal. With guest flutist Caitlyn Coyiuto, guitarist Lester Demetillo, pianists Cristine Coyiuto and Mai Maigue, the concert will be held at the Insular Hall, Alabang on Sunday, May 30, at 4 p.m. Tickets are at P800 and P400. Going to great lengths

For some quality time and to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Dr. Ed and Beng Fores along with grandson Rocco Fores Lozano recently went to the island of Boracay for some fun under the sun. With Rocco’s parents Hugo Lozano and Chat Fores Lozano and grandaunt Friends for the Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) immediate past president Minerva Tanseco who has a penchant for great times, the family had a wonderful time in the captivating island. Cheers!
