Rocking the vue
It was a musical trip down memory lane as The Bellevue Hotel, the luxurious destination South of the Metro led by visionary chairman Johnny Chan together with dapper brothers general manager Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan, in partnership with RJ 100 and major sponsor Smart Infinity, recently treated Alabang and Manila’s groovy set to a night of rock & roll featuring the iconic guitar master Ramon “RJ” Jacinto. Held at the hotel’s most happening spot — the spacious and elegant Vue Bar, the concert dubbed, “Rock the Vue” had guests transported in the ‘60s as they danced to RJ’s trademark “oldies but goodies” music. The groovy soul band Juan Pablo Dream also spiced up the evening as they mesmerized the audience with their foot-stomping music. It was indeed a superb musical event to remember as the bar’s delectable bar chows, overflowing drinks, and much talk-about panoramic view of Alabang’s city skyline had everyone partying till the wee hours. Meet the executive of the year
The indefatigable general manager Hans Hauri (3rd from left) of the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu (MPPC) was recently conferred the “Executive of the Year” for 2010 by The Philippine Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (PASAP) during the PASAP Executive night. The award is given in recognition of his exemplary leadership in the hospitality industry and tireless contribution to the administrative professional development. Joining him during the affair are Executive of the Year Search for 2010 chairperson Odette Bacudo, PASAP president Lisa Caro with MPPC executive assistant and Nominating Admin Professional Michelle Maranga-Cuerquis.
