Live life to the fullest with Anlene

-

MANILA, Philippines - A life lived with passion is a life well lived. It’s an adage many women live by. For them, passion is the key to living the life they love. Women like Joanne Ignacio and Anne Diaz Brenner take charge, living each day with purpose, but never forgetting to take care of themselves.

Ignacio, 26, single, is one of those multi-talented women who take on various interests and take pleasure in experiencing a variety of tasks. She’s a communications officer of the World Wide Fund for Nature Philippines (WWF-Philippines), a non-government organization advocating environmental causes; a television and live events host, and a fitness instructor who teaches yoga and boxing.

Brenner’s life is just as exciting as Ignacio’s. As a nurse paramedic with Lifeline Ambulance Rescue Inc., a dedicated emergency quick response (EQR) group, she gets to provide medical assistance to a variety of people in need.

“This is my passion,” says Brenner, a devoted wife and mother to a 19-year-old. “I like to help people whenever I can.”

These two women leading very active lives are thankful that they are able to enjoy what the world has to offer, with a healthy body and a positive outlook.

In order to continue leading physically active lives though, Ignacio and Brenner make sure they get enough calcium to maintain their strong bones.

What many Filipino women do not know is that two glasses of most milk products only provide 50 percent of their daily calcium needs. So regular milk drinkers and even those who take calcium supplements may not be getting the full benefits of this all-important mineral. Research shows that regular ready-to-drink milk, for instance, provides only 324 milligrams, or 43 percent, of the daily Recommended Energy and Nutrition Intake (RENI) for calcium. It is simply not enough to keep your bones strong and your body healthy.

Calcium is best for its role in preventing osteoporosis. Calcium is a critical nutrient that helps build bone mass (studies have proven that together with vitamin D). It is a major factor in maintaining bone density and preventing problems like fractures.

Maintaining a habit of getting a daily calcium fix with a high-calcium milk is the only way to go. Switching from regular ready-to-drink milk to Anlene Concentrate, which has four times more calcium, helps provide what your body needs to enable you to do the things you love every single day.
