Fr. John Leydon will officiate the 9 a.m. Mass. Mayor Alfredo Lim will lead the tree-planting rites.

Foodies will have a heyday shopping for yummy treats like bibingka, croissants, pancit, barbecue, fabada, and fried rice, among others.

Recycled items, clothes, organic products, potted blooms, herbs and ornaments will also be on sale.

Parkgoers will be entertained by the Makabata School Foundation’s 50-piece Drums and Lyres Band, a yoga demonstration by Iskon (Hare Krishna) and a Brahma Kumari music ensemble of harmonica, tablas and sitar.

Artists Ernie Patricio and Leo Meneses will render portraits on the spot, and hold an exhibit/sale.

Kids will enjoy drawing and coloring bird pictures provided by the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines and the story-telling session featuring The Red Balloon and The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins. There will also be a book and magazine sale.

Entrance is free.
