In honor of an Architect's Princess
Visionary architect Gilbert Yu, wife Tina and family welcomed friends and guests at the Manila Peninsula Hotel’s Rigodon Ballroom as they recently celebrated the graduation of their youngest child Ginarella Pearl Yu.
Gina, as she is fondly called by her family and close peers, graduated summa cum laude with a business management degree at the Singapore Management University, one of the top universities in Asia.
Only 24 years old and the youngest of five children, all of whom excel in their respective professions, it wasn’t surprising that Gina would follow in the footsteps of the family’s long list of achievers.
Gina is set to join Bain and Co., one of the top consulting firms in Singapore, as a management consultant.
Congratulations, Gina!
Misty mountain hop
There’s something about Baguio that attracts weary urbanites like me.
In fact, a lot of people have already traded the hustle and bustle of metro life for one that is simple, laid-back and worry-free. You know you have arrived in a stress-free haven when you begin breathing in that clean and crisp pine-scented mountain breeze in the early morning mist amid towering pine trees.
This was a dream come true when I recently visited Camp John Hay’s Luxury Log Homes, a residential paradise where you can build your dream abode.
These fantastic houses are made of red cedar logs from North America and have an exquisite and elegant exterior and interior designs made to blend in with the pine forest backdrop.
Get all these at Camp John Hay, classy and cozy homes surrounded by picturesque mountainside sceneries, unspoiled ecological beauty, and the peace and quiet of a serene and relaxing atmosphere.
