When art and friends meet

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton -

The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) in partnership with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals (Phils.), Inc. recently signed a memorandum of agreement for the donation of artworks to be used for support of cause-oriented projects and to further promote the art movement in the Philippines. Led by FCCP president Minerva Tanseco and Boysie Villavicencio, the event was held at The Fort’s Le Soufflé amid a soothing mini classical music concert by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra’s string quartet. The event was graced by former First Lady Imelda R. Marcos, AstraZeneca human resources director Thelma Meneses, Taguig City first lady Kaye Tinga, to name a few.

When people agree to support legitimate cause-oriented initiatives through art, expect a most colorful outcome. Congratulations!

Plush party

Living life to the fullest was the theme for the evening as Fila and Tiva chief executive officer Cris Albert celebrated her birthday with a lavish dinner at the Prince Albert, followed by a night on the town at clubs like Establishment and Members Only.

The exquisite selection of food and wine was utterly enjoyed by some of the celebrator’s closest friends and relatives as she entertained them while dressed in an original Vera Wang gown.

It was a luxuriously enjoyable evening and truly an ode to celebrating life. Happy birthday, Cris!
