MANILA, Philippines – Samsung Electronics shared their vision for the future of audio-visual technology at the Samsung 2009 AV Roadshow LED – A Whole New Species of Television. Presenting an entirely new TV species — the Samsung LED Full HD TVs — the event was a celebration of innovation that tech-lovers are destined to experience — a fuller and more exciting digital lifestyle. Samsung’s latest offerings signal the company’s commitment to breaking new ground and creating new markets as a leading industry player and innovator.
The NBC Tent in The Fort, Taguig was transformed into a gallery where 45 of Samsung’s latest audio-visual products were unveiled and a plush setup for a press conference and sumptuous buffet dining was arranged. Friends from the media were welcomed by Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. CEO and President Spencer Shim. Samsung CTV Product Manager Roma Ramirez then discussed what has been brewing in Samsung’s forward-looking R&D. Executives including Product Management Group head Amby Navarro, CE director Antonio Mauricio, corporate marketing director Glenn Glinoga, vice president CE Division Jay Ha, and CEO and president Spencer Shim participated in the lively panel interview. The morning festivity was hosted by Grace Lee. The celebration continued in the evening where Samsung dealers had their turn to see and experience the new lineup. Mo Twister’s energetic hosting and the powerful harmonics of The Company kept the guests entertained throughout the night. Samsung gave away digital cameras, SlimFit TVs, LCD TVs, and home theater systems.
