Little Hawaii in Las Piñas

-

MANILA, Philippines – DMCI Homes recently unveiled Ohana Place, a tropical-themed development in Las Piñas City.

The blessing was officiated by Fr. Enrico Salazar, and graced by DMCI officials.

Ideal for middle-income families in search of a refreshing residential community in the south, Ohana Place is a mid-rise development set to rise along Alabang–Zapote Road in Las Piñas City. It is composed of seven five-story buildings set within a prime 3.14-hectare property.

The first building Honolulu will be turned over to residents this August.

Interested parties can inquire at the Ohana Place sales office situated right at the entrance gate of the development. Here, walk-ins can check out the property scale model, information panels, watch the audio-visual presentations of the project, and inspect the actual model unit inside the facility. There are two   negotiation rooms inside, which mimic the Polynesian flavors of the project, complete with sheer curtains, rattan furniture, and wood-infused lighting fixtures. The two-bedroom model unit was also unveiled.

Tapped to create Ohana Place’s tropical paradise was Cecil I. Narvaez, principal designer of Y Diseños Interior, which specializes in architectural and interior design, space planning, and interior fit-out works.

Cecil infused a palette of ocean colors such as turquoise, monochromatic shades of blue and purple, brown and white for that modern tropical feel.

Different types of wood such as bird’s eye maple, wenge, and veneer were utilized to simulate nature and add a rustic yet tempered feel fit for city dwelling.

The 66-sq.m. unit includes two bedrooms (at 10.50 sq.m. each), a toilet and bath, living and dining areas, and a kitchen, balcony area at 7.50 sq.m., and a service area at the roof deck at 9 sq.m.

Living spaces radiate an energized feel to complement the tropical theme, while the two bedrooms with minimal furnishing blend well with the motif.

“The unit was very easy to lay out,” Cecil enthused. “The space is actually big for a two-bedroom condo, which is just perfect for the target market in mind. We are confident that this will be appreciated by young couples because of the warm and homey feel with a twist.”

Upon completion, Ohana Place will offer approximately 738 units that are configured in two- and three-bedroom units.
