The great Easter eggs-capade at Robinsons Malls

MANILA, Philippines - So why the fuss over the Easter egg?

Did you know that on Easter Sunday, thousands of eggs worldwide are painstakingly collected for various activities and games such as egg hunts, egg tapping, egg dumping, egg rolling, egg dance, and all sorts of egg-citing activities?

The Easter egg is deemed indispensable in every Easter Day celebration. It is the adopted symbolic icon for the Christian’s view of rebirth and a declaration of the Resurrection of Jesus. More so, various pious legends also support its significance in Easter celebrations.    

Robinsons Malls take part in this fun and symbolic worldwide tradition as they hold a “Great Easter Eggs-capade” on Easter Sunday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Kids, from five to 12 years old, are all invited to join this delightful Easter event. All they have to do is come to their nearest Robinsons Mall and register. All activities and contests will officially start by 1 p.m. 

Various egg-citing contests will be held on this day to challenge everyone’s artistic skills and creativity. There will also be tons of exciting prizes and special awards to vie for. At Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Place Lipa and Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, an Easter Bunny Mask Design Contest will be held. Interested participants just have to come to the activity area wearing their most unique hand-made bunny mask.

But if you’re up for a more challenging and stimulating experience, try creating an Easter egg masterpiece on the spot. Join the On-the-Spot Egg Painting Contest at Robinsons Place Imus, Robinsons Place Dasmariñas, Robinsons Sta. Rosa Market, Robinsons Place Angeles, and Robinsons Nova Market.

Aside from these contests, kids should also watch for other fun-filled Easter Day activities that will leave them all breathless in thrill such as an egg hunt, magic shows, roving Easter bunny, and face painting.

At Summit Ridge Tagaytay and Robinsons Luisita, there will be roving Easter dancing statues to give away prize-filled Easter eggs to kids and youngsters.  

And as if these were not enough, Robinsons Malls also invited celebrity kids to join the fun at Robinsons Place Imus, Robinsons Place Dasmariñas, Robinsons Place Lipa, Robinsons Nova Market, Robinsons Place Angeles, Robinsons Los Baños, Robinsons Sta. Rosa Market, and Robinsons Otis.

All Robinsons Malls will be closed on April 9, Holy Thursday and April 10, Good Friday. Regular mall hours will resume on April 11, Black Saturday.
