A green Kris Kringle: Swap potted plants

Plant lovers now have another reason to celebrate the holiday season. Come to the country’s very first Potted Plant Swap brought to you by Plantastic today, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Makati Park and Garden.

Entrance to the Plantastic Potted Plant Swap is free but you have to bring potted plants to trade with each other. The holiday season is all about sharing, so why not share the gift that grows?

The Plantastic Potted Plant Swap is just like Kris Kringle — except that instead of exchanging gifts, you exchange plants. Everyone is invited to bring along plants they’d like to share and get one they’d like for free. Looking to bring more color into your home? Bring along your spare potted plants and get vibrant new additions to your house in return. The more plants you share, the more new and interesting “gifts” you get.

While taking some time off exchanging plants with fellow green thumbs, guests can enjoy the food and other goodies available at the event. They may sample Plantastic Soil-Less Potting Mix, a top-notch substitute for soil.
