The Family Townhomes, a pet project of visionary Taguig Mayor Freddie Tinga, was formally inaugurated recently at Bgy. Ususan in Taguig City. He was joined by no less than Vice President Noli de Castro, as well as HUDCC secretary general Lucille Ortille, DOTC USec. Agustin Bengzon, and NHA general manager Federico Laxa in the ribbon-cutting ceremonies. The project is an earnest attempt by a local government unit to pursue a mass-housing project in partnership with private sector donors – individuals and corporations who donated financial support, construction materials, manpower, and professional services – all for the betterment of Taguig’s less fortunate. Among those welcoming guests to the well-attended affair was Freddie’s charming wife Kaye Tinga and hardworking Vice Mayor George Elias. Now that’s the way to serve the people, Mayor Tinga! Keep up the excellent work!
