Alabang residents and Makati habitués trooped to a jam-packed concert featuring top balladeer and songwriter Jose Mari Chan. This musical evening, held at the concert venue of the south, The Bellevue Grand Ballroom, was directed by Archie Castillo and featured special guest singers Jennifer Uy and Aliya Parcs. Among those seen enjoying the concert were no less than Broadway star Lea Salonga-Chien with husband Robert Chien, as well as actress Juliana Palermo. Leave it to the tandem of the Chan brothers, Bellevue general manager Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan, to make Alabang the new Makati. Exciting events in the south happen only at The Bellevue!

Dining is such a pleasurable activity for people like me who lead busy lives, for dining affords one a quiet time to recharge and share light moments with friends. In Alabang, there is a place I love to visit because of its sumptuous food and great company in the person of young and energetic hoteliers such as The Bellevue general manager Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan, who very much remind of myself when I was their age, brimming with vigor and new ideas.
