The Harbor Garden Tent of the Westin Philippine Plaza was recently lit up for a dazzling party for the opening salvo of the German Month, led by German Ambassador Axel Weishaupt. The hottest fashion event of the season, the fashion show powered by Lufthansa, was a red-carpet event filled with an international crowd of fashionistas and car enthusiasts. Pumas hip sports apparel and Escadas fall/winter collection filled the runway with the most stylish designs and the most gorgeous models, including Escadas signature model Anna Krolicka. DJ Ben Mono from Munich pumped the evening with techno music while the guests enjoyed Westins palette of sumptuous dishes prepared by executive chef Brian Farrell.

The Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines and Saga Events recently held "Philippine Fashion Trends," one of the most prestigious fashion events of the year, at Isla Ballroom of the Edsa Shangri-la, Manila. The hotels general manager John Rice welcomed metros crème de la crème personalities from government, social, fashion, and entertainment industries as they paid tribute to the countrys innovative and dynamic fashion leaders. Wide screens filled the ballroom as the models ramped their way across the long stage, wearing next years fashion forecasts of the talented members of the FDCP.
