Entertainment at its peak at Teak

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton -
Teak formally opened its doors as a haven for those in a state of crowd fatigue. Located at the strip of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, its warm and welcoming ambience makes the Lopez Drive the place to hang out with your close friends. The mood at the Teak Bistro & Bar launch was relaxing and very laid-back. The energy level was high yet not tiring. The absence of blaring speakers and a pandemonium of onlookers was a breath of fresh air, allowing for a smooth and free-flowing vibe. The usual ribbon-cutting rituals and sticker tag was spared that night.

Most of Manila’s top party faces came in their casual chic wear and enjoyed the night breeze at the al fresco setting. Inside, the mood was intimate and casual without any hint of pretense as guests sat back on plush velvet seats. The buffet table was laden with excellent choices whipped up by consultant Dino Guingona. Food included Vietnamese spring rolls with smoked fish, special Teak hors d’oeuvres, Thai vegetable salad, grilled mahi mahi with baby scallops sautéed in garlic, and roast chicken in lemon cumin and basil. A variety of wines was presented elegantly in a glass chamber, serving as the restaurant’s backdrop. With its combination of good food and ambience, Teak Bistro & Bar will be the hottest destination for Manila’s celebrities and top personalities.

See you at Teak!
