French champagne & a French honor

Arare honor was given to the vivacious and hardworking Marilyn Golangco by the French government when she was conferred as the founding president of the Philippine-France Professionals Association: "Chevalier dans l’Ordre National du Merite" by Ambassador Renee Veyret at the official residence of the ambassador.

Family members and close friends of Mallie attended this exclusive event where yours truly was master of ceremonies.

Witnesses to this event were feted with exquisite French wine and champagne, which complemented the hors d’oeuvres and pate de foie gras, followed by a fabulous entree and magnifique desserts

* * * ‘Stages Of Motherhood’ Exhibit: Pregnant With Meaning

Advocates for Youth Foundation joined the Stages of Motherhood exhibit recently at Glorietta, Ayala Center, Makati City to introduce the campaign to raise awareness of teen pregnancy prevention and its consequences.

Originally targeted at 600 respondents to the survey titled "Let’s Talk About Sex," it drew an overwhelming 1,651 respondents!

Top advocates led by Paco Magsaysay of Asian Vision Cable Holdings, Rey Anthony David of Great Wall Advertising, Margie Jao Grey of Philippine STAR, Virginia Co of Dairy Queen, Audrey Tan of IPAC, Cyndy Tan-Jarabata of Tower Club plus other business and media personalities were present to support youth volunteers.
