Toyota donates fire truck to host barangay in Laguna

MANILA, Philippines — Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP), through its social and humanitarian arm Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMPF), recently donated a fire truck to Barangay Pulong Sta. Cruz in the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Through this donation, Toyota further strengthens the barangay’s capability to respond to fire incidents in the community.

This is on top of its assistance to suppressing fire incidents in the area by deploying the company’s fleet of fire trucks when needed.

Toyota also supports its immediate community through various programs such as promoting academic excellence in its adopted school (Pulong Sta. Cruz Elementary School), provision of houses to deserving constituents of Santa Rosa City through the Toyota-City of Santa Rosa-Gawad Kalinga Village, and conducting an annual medical/dental outreach.

During the turnover ceremony, Pulong Sta. Cruz barangay captain Constancia Dones received the donated fire truck from TMP president Satoru Suzuki, witnessed by barangay officials, city councilors and Toyota officials.
