Marks & Spencer launches post-surgery bras
MANILA, Philippines - British retailer Marks & Spencer recently launched its line of specialized brassieres catering to women who recently underwent breast surgery.
The store said its post-surgery bras are for women who had full mastectomy, lumpectomy, breast enhancement or breast reduction.
"Marks & Spencer's post-surgery bras have dual pockets, cotton liners, modesty panels, and sturdy stitching. It also has side sling support and comfort under bands to ensure maximum protection," it said.
The store added that women who recently went under the knife cannot go to fitting immediately after operation as their chests can still be swollen and tender, and the scars and dressing are still fresh.
"Fitting can start at least six weeks post-surgery, and they can go to Marks & Spencer's for that. At Marks & Spencer, bra fitters will treat them with utmost care and sensitivity, and they will be shown with empathy—not sympathy. They will be presented with the bras that will suit their needs," the store said.
