Reebok ZPump 2.0: Redefining custom-fit

MANILA, Philippines – For one who frequents the gym to maintain a healthy lifestyle, finding the ideal gym shoes is as hard as having a glass slipper that will comfortably fit one’s foot. When The Pump actuator on the heel of the ZPump Fusion 2.0 is pushed, the air is channeled through the valve and into the air-filled cage, enabling it to fill and clasp around the upper and heel in a way that is unique to each foot. Some people may require three pumps, while others may require 10. To release the air, runners can simply deflate using the release valve.

I am fortunate to have the first version of the ZPump last year, so it is easy to make a direct comparison of the new 2.0 against its predecessor. Looking at the contour of the latest ZPump version, you can immediately sense that it is designed to follow the shape of your foot. Though the previous version already possesses a wrapping feel of your foot, the 2.0 Fusion provides a secure hug on the upper part of your foot and toes, especially when you apply the Pump actuator.

Once you slide your foot in, you could immediately feel its lightness, allowing for more freedom of movement. Though I haven’t run for a long time, my regular cardio exercise has been Les Mill’s Bodyjam, which demands the same intensity and pounding of the lower parts of your body as running. The impact from the leaps and the sustained jumping in a Bodyjam class can definitely hurt your soles and knees, but the ZPump 2.0 provides you the necessary cushion to protect you from possible injuries through its ultra-lightweight carbonated foam.
