With the addition of EUS, the Center is set to deliver a more accurate and extensive endoscopy and ultrasound in the digestive and respiratory field as well.  The EUS can realize high resolution images and supports clear visualization of tumors and blood flow information. Its advanced scope design is ideal for staging cancers of the gut, evaluating the pancreas and bile ducts and submucosal lesions. It also has the capability to obtain biopsy specimens not accessible to usual means and treat several disorders.
