87th Felicidad Sy Wellness Center opens in Biñan, Laguna
MANILA, Philippines -The Biñan Main Health Center, which also houses the City Health Office located in Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Biñan, Laguna, was recently inaugurated as SM Foundation’s 87th Felicidad Sy Wellness Center. The health center services 24 barangays with a total population of 283,396, with patients numbering 300 daily. 
In 2012, the Biñan Health Center was totally damaged by a fire. Biñan Mayor Marlyn Alonte-Naguiat then undertook the initial rehabilitation of the center, but SM Foundation in partnership with BDO Foundation took over the complete rehabilitation, including the donation of basic medical equipment and the interior enhancement of the center.
The center has an x-ray room, a dental room, doctors’ room, treatment room, consultation room, TB-Dots area, prenatal/postnatal room, an immunization room, storage/pharmacy room, and a conference room where health prevention seminars are held. It has a staff complement of 54 composed of doctors, midwives, nurses, sanitary inspectors, dentists, and administrative personnel.
