MANILA, Philippines - Healthway Medical, the country’s most preferred network of multispecialty clinics, has come up with an innovative health card that allows families to enjoy the perks of regular visits to the clinic.  Healthway Medical’s HealthWallet card employs a debit system that can be used in all of its clinics. It is fully reloadable and transferable, making visits to Healthway Medical clinics more convenient and more accessible to all family members.

What’s more, the bearer is entitled to a fixed consultation fee of P200 for a primary care physician and P400 for other healthcare specialists, except neurologists and orthodontists, with an initial load of P1,000.          

“This card is a good way to encourage Filipinos to take care of their health since this can be transferred and used by any member of the family,” says Carmie de Leon, Healthway Medical vice president for sales and marketing. “This makes quality healthcare convenient and, more importantly, affordable. The HealthWallet card also offers 20-percent discounts on laboratory, diagnostic, and ancillary procedures, rehabilitation modalities, oral prophylaxis and dental restorative procedures, and operating room use exclusively for HealthWallet holders.

As added incentive, HealthWallet now offers loyalty points which can be availed at any Healthway Medical, Clarity or AB Pharma outlets. For every P100 worth of cash load, cardholders earn one loyalty point equivalent to P1. After earning a minimum of 50 loyalty points, HealthWallet holders can redeem their credits as discount on their total bill from various health care services.
