Driving away breast cancer in a KGBC Ford Fiesta
MANILA, Philippines - Supporters of Avon Philippines’ Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer (KGBC) campaign not only enjoyed walking the talk with the global beauty company, they also got the chance to win exciting prizes from Ford, Cebu Pacific, SM Appliance Center, and Devant via special KGBC promos.
The KGBC Walk promo invited everyone to look out for the Special Edition KGBC Ford Fiesta, which went around different Avon branches, Ford dealerships, and at the recently concluded Avon KGBC Let’s Walk the Talk event at the SM Mall of Asia open grounds; take a snapshot of it; and upload it on the KGBC Support the Walk Facebook app, for a chance to win great prizes from campaign sponsors.
Elsie Galacio’s entry earned her the ultimate Ford Fiesta experience — a chauffeured drive to a special destination, a luxurious meal, and a relaxing spa session, all of which she plans to share with her daughter.
Garnering the grand prize was the entry of Fely Papa, which allowed her to take home a 50” Devant 50iTV630 Smart 3D TV worth P100,000.
Participants of the KGBC run who registered at the KGBC Support the Run Facebook app, and got the most Facebook friends to sign up as well, vied for plane tickets from Cebu Pacific.
Second placers Mariel Versoza and Rona Dizon won one domestic round-trip ticket each, while top referrer Luz Sales won round-trip tickets to Hanoi, Vietnam.
Avon’s 2012 KGBC events also marked the 20th year of the campaign. Themed Let’s Walk the Talk, this year’s series took Avon’s call to action a step further by inviting Filipinos to come face to face with the life-threatening condition and proactively and concretely deepen their involvement in the cause.
