MANILA, Philippines - Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi, recently donated flu and tetanus toxoid vaccines to Barangay Roxas, Quezon City.  The community was one of the areas affected by the heavy rains caused by the southwest monsoon last August.   “This activity is aligned with our vision that no one should suffer or die of vaccine-preventable diseases,” said Ching Santos (2nd from left), country manager of Sanofi Pasteur Philippines.  Also present during the vaccine turnover were kagawad Tess Galapon (middle) who received the vaccines in behalf of the barangay council, Atty. Darwin Mariano (left), public affairs and communications director of Sanofi, and other community leaders of Barangay Roxas.  The vaccines were administered to the children and the elderly in the community with the help of volunteer nurses from the Alliance of Young Nurse Leaders and Advocates International (AYNLA), Quezon City chapter.
