Shopwise brings its distinct brand of hypermarket shopping to Cebuanos
MANILA, Philippines - Cebu’s most discerning shoppers enjoyed a wide array of quality merchandise at affordable prices, fast and friendly service and, of course, fun-filled shopping at the exclusive launch of Shopwise by Rustan Supercenters, Inc., the newest hypermarket in the Queen City of the South.
Well-attended by Cebu’s prominent personalities and members of the media, the highly-anticipated event commenced with a grand balloon drop that unveiled the interiors of the Shopwise Cebu branch, led by Shopwise president Donnie Tantoco, Congressman Eduardo Gullas and wife Norma Gullas, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, Andrew Aznar, Nena Tantoco, reigning Miss Cebu 2012 Pierre Anther Infante, and Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2nd runner-up Sharon Angel.
The launch also featured live performances by TV personalities Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil, as well as treated guests to a sumptuous selection of food and cocktails prepared by Café Laguna and Ralph Joseph’s Philippine Wine Merchants. More, attendees were given free Shopwise Elite WiseCards and enjoyed other freebies and exclusive offers during the event.
Located in Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City, Shopwise Cebu is the hypermarket’s second branch outside Manila, its first branch outside the National Capital Region, and its 10th branch to date.
With a Cebu branch now open, Shopwise is set to be the Cebuanos’ shopping destination of choice, thanks to a complete and extensive selection of fresh, affordable, and quality buys, bolstered by a regular series of unbeatable deals and innovative promos that guarantee a comfortable, practical, and efficient one-stop experience.
Aside from this, Cebuanos will also delight in the presence of food stations within the hypermarket which cater to shoppers on the go — the Mongolian Stir Fry Station which serves rice bowl toppings cooked your way; a ’50s-style diner called the Soda Fountain serving up an array of hotdogs, burgers, and fries; the Salad Station, Kakanin Native Desserts, and a bakery serving fresh bread daily.
A variety of establishments, a much-awaited and welcome addition in the south district of the city, are located around the hypermarket as well. Food stalls, food and beverage outlets and other retail branches such as a salon, optical shop, jewelry stores, massage, foreign exchange, lotto and a payment center all contribute to making Shopwise a lifestyle destination in the south.
Shopwise Cebu is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Other Shopwise branches are located in Makati, Libis, Antipolo City, at the ground floor of the Harrison Plaza Mall, at the Festival Supermall in Alabang, in Araneta Center, Cubao, along Sucat Road corner Soreena Avenue, Parañaque City, along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City and in San Pedro, Laguna.
