Affordable diagnostic treatment for better healthcare in Ilocos

Leading healthcare provider HIMEX Corporation, under Rema Padilla-Ohno, conceptualized and initiated a long-term program dubbed “Rehabilitation and Development of All Government Hospitals,” which aims to rehabilitate all government hospitals’ radiology department and install the latest technology in diagnostic imaging equipment through joint venture partnership. Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson recently partnered with HIMEX to enhance the quality of medical services and provide complete and more affordable diagnostic treatment to all Ilocanos. The Gabriela Silang General Hospital in Vigan will be the first local government unit in Northern Luzon to be the recipient of the multi-million-peso, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as the latest Hitachi MRI (in photo), CT scan, X-ray systems, and ultrasound.
