MANILA, Philippines - The White Hat, which opened its maiden store at the Mall of Asia in July 2008, is probably the leading cause of today’s frozen yogurt addiction. Being 100-percent Filipino-owned, it is proudly the leading fro-yo store in the country despite foreign competition.

 Other healthy reasons to indulge in The White Hat?  

It contains less than half the sugar found in regular ice cream and 75-percent less than gelato. It also only has two-percent fat, compared to five to 25-percent fat in regular ice cream. Not to mention its calorie content is only half that of the same serving amount of ice cream.
