Sun, fun, and sun care at Camp Nivea

MANILA, Philippines – For about 30 lucky kids that hope to be the country’s next stars, it was one long weekend to remember. Camp Nivea was a vacation and a workshop in one, focused on getting these kids ready for the demands of celebrity life while having some fun under the sun.

Peninsula de Punta Fuego was the perfect place to do it. And everyone felt so comfy and stylish, thanks to some chic pairs of slippers from Ipanema. This camp came complete with everything — from games to bonfires to parties and even scheduled lights-off each night. The kids were from ages 10 to early 20s, after all.

Camp Nivea made sure these young gals and guys would know a little bit more about being a professional talent. From dressing for the part to getting every pose right and even to learning how to DJ, this camp made sure the basics were all covered.

First was the DJ workshop with DJ Mars Miranda and DJ Mike Cons. Then, it was on to the fashion workshop hosted by Robby Carmona and Sassa Jimenez early Saturday. And then there was the Headshot Clinic in the afternoon. Chanco and DJ Tony Tony kicked off the afternoon clinic with some ice-breakers while Niccolo Cosme took over the workshop itself. Both sessions definitely gave valuable lessons. But when it was time for fun, the Camp Nivea participants just could not resist jumping into Camp Nivea’s pool games for a good splash. And while the kids were at play, they also got to try some of Nivea’s latest products for kids, coming to all retail stores nationwide, beginning this month.
