Raising critical thinkers with Singapore math
MANILA, Philippines - Keys Grade School is hosting “Raising Critical Thinkers with Singapore Math.” The world first started to take note of the Singapore math curriculum when Singapore consistently topped international standardized tests in math. Internationally renowned speaker and Keys faculty trainer Dr. Yeap Ban Har will shed light not only on the success of the Singapore math program but on how the program also cultivates critical thinking, problem solving, and communicating in mathematics.
Dr. Yeap is a professor at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Parents with children in schools employing Singapore math and teachers and administrators looking to implement this math program will benefit from Dr. Yeap’s seminar.
