Kids discover the magic of 4-D with X-Rider

MANILA, Philippines - It’s never easy to keep a kid entertained, even with the many offerings of amusement parlors inside the malls. But then came the computer and the Internet, the ubiquitous cell phone, games, and other spectacular delights for children .

And now comes the X-Rider which will launch a 4-D ride for the first time in a mall setup to simulate all the thrills of the actual ride but on cyber space.

The X-Rider is an eight-seat mini theater showcasing 12 different educational and adventurous themes that will surely make every child crave more. While the kid views images in a life-like three-dimension (3-D), the experience is on 4-D, which means the viewers feel what they are watching. For example, the audience can feel the vibrations as if they are in the scene and an actual participant. The X-Rider has movable seats, air jets, etc. to simulate amazing effects and other movements.

According to Mau Roxas, president of Real X-treme Ride Corporation, “The attractions, games, rides inside the malls make the kids the most important guests and customers of every shopping mall and we want to take this opportunity to bring our product to different malls here in our country. At a young age, the grasping capacity of the kids is faster. They can remember things very easily, but the only difficulty is with comprehension. However, children can be made to learn and comprehend things in enjoyable ways. They learn things faster when learning is combined with entertainment. And with X-Rider, learning will be more fun for children,” notes Roxas.

 “Most of us have always been fascinated by 3-D films and roller-coaster rides. With X-Rider, the fun of watching a 3-D film and the spine-tingling experience or riding a roller coaster can be experienced at the same time. And, we don’t have to travel far just to enjoy this technological advancement. 4-D will soon be in our favorite mall,” Roxas adds.

The 12 themes of X-Rider vary from science to history, nature, general knowledge, animations, etc.

“Children always have this curiosity about riding a roller-coaster, because they are not allowed to get onto a roller coaster seat for a very obvious reason — safety. With X-Rider, this curiosity will be satisfied and watching a film will have a different and spine-chilling meaning for kids,” Roxas explains.
