Implant dentistry congress set
MANILA, Philippines – Some 250 foreign delegates and more than 25 foreign speakers are expected to arrive in the Philippines as it hosts the First Asia-Pacific Academy of Implant Dentistry (APAID) Congress at Sofitel Philippine Plaza on Aug. 6 to 9.
The congress, hosted by the Philippine College of Oral Implantologists, (PCOI) brings together world-renowned experts in the field of oral implantology. They will share their insights, observations, and knowledge in line with the theme “New Challenges in Oral Implantology.”
The event kicks off with a golf tournament on Thursday, Aug. 6, followed by a pre-congress the next day. Conference proper is on Aug. 8 and 9. The banquet and cultural night is on Saturday, Aug. 8.
APAID aims to improve and promote education, research, and training in oral implantology and upgrade the profession of implant dentistry through academic exchanges worldwide. It now has 10 member countries.
The congress is sponsored by the UP College of Dentistry, NU College of Dentistry, UE College of Dentistry, CEU College of Dentistry, UB College of Dentistry, and Iloilo Doctors College of Dentistry.
