New pharma industry factbook out
MANILA, Philippines – The seventh edition of the Philippine Pharmaceutical Industry Factbook is now available.
The Factbook contains relevant and latest statistics on the global and Philippine pharmaceutical industries, including top pharmaceutical companies and leading pharmaceutical products and brands.
The book also includes an overview of the Philippine health situation as well as specific information on Philippine pharmaceutical companies, therapeutic categories, brands, and distribution channels which can be useful to policy makers, healthcare advocates, the medical community, civil society groups, members of the academe, and the general public in understanding the contributions of the pharmaceutical industry in making Filipinos live longer and healthier.
The book is published by the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines (PHAP), a group of pharmaceutical companies engaged in research and development (R&D) to discover innovative medicines that save people’s lives.
A section of the book features PHAP’s pioneering programs and campaigns to provide Filipinos with greater access to safe and innovative medicines as well as R&D efforts to save and improve lives.
The book also presents PHAP’s programs to ensure the integrity of the pharmaceutical supply chain, their efforts to educate the medical community and the public, and their commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through the PHAPCares Foundation and the respective CSR programs of member companies.
The Factbook, which is sold at P600, is exclusively available at the PHAP office located at Unit 502, One Corporate Plaza, 845 A. Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City.
