PSMID Holds 23rd Annual Convention

The Philippine Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (PSMID) will hold its 23^rd annual convention on November 29 – December 1, 2001 at the Westin Philippine Plaza. This year’s convention theme is, "New Paradigms in Infectious Diseases: Relevance to Clinical Practice." Plenary sessions will discuss the changing patterns of infectious diseases globally, role of infections in inflammatory diseases, role of molecular biology in infectious disease management, and new strategies in treatment and prevention of infectious diseases.
