Smart welcomes iPhone 6 and 6 plus with the ViPs
MANILA, Philippines – There is no other way to celebrate the arrival of "the most sought after device ever," the iPhone 6 and 6 plus here, but to launch it with the ViPs.
Smart gathered its "privileged" Infinity subscribers in an invite-only event dubbed as “The ViP Welcome,” Thursday night at the Salon de Ning of The Peninsula Manila in Makati City, to welcome the much awaited brand new flagship phone of Apple.
Existing and new Infinity subsricbers will enjoy the fullest services and promos that Smart can offer for the brand new iPhones starting with Plan 8000 that comes with two iPhone 6 16GB or an iPhone 6 16GB and a MacBook Air, while plan 5000 will receive an iPhone 6 64GB or an iPhone 6 plus 16GB plus P5,000 worth of Gift Certificate/Monthly Service Fee Credit.
For plans below 5,000, Smart also offers various options for postpaid subscribers starting with the "Retention Upgrade," waving the cashout for iPhone 6 64GB and iPhone 6 Plus 16GB for subscribers who will upgrade or change their plan/package to Data Plan 3000.

Meanwhile, an Infinity subscriber for eight years was the first taker of the iPhone 6 from Smart.
Nona Orozco received her brand new gold iPhone 6 64gb at exactly 12 m.n., handed over by her own Infinity Management Officer, exclusive for subscribers with plan 5,000 and 8,000.
“I didn't expect that I will receive it tonight, I thought it will be given next week,” said the excited Orozco who ordered the handset last September.
She admitted that before, she had no plans on getting an iPhone, but was persuaded with the convenience that the handset and Smart could offer.
