Vine app updates users should know
MANILA, Philippines - Twitter continues to add more features on short video sharing platform Vine, in a bid to make it one of the easiest and most enjoyable apps to use.
During the app's first day, it captured the top spot in social category in the App Store.
If you want to explore what this app can do, these are the essential features that you should know how to use:
Messaging
An option whether to publish a Vine or send it as a message right after shooting it is available. Now, you do not have to worry if your video is okay to be seen by public.
According to Vine Blog, “To create your own Vine message (VM), select the new 'Messages' option in the navigation menu, record a video and send it to your friends.”
Moreover, the new messaging feature allows the users to share a post directly with a friend.
Notification
Notifications can be received via push notifications and in the Activity tab. You can customize both by accessing the Notifications menu in Settings. Unread activity items and unread VMs can also be viewed right in the app’s icon.
Navigation Bar
There is a new navigation bar designed to be a little more user-friendly. You can switch between tabs with one tap instead of two. Furthermore, as you view Vines in your home feed or from another user’s profile, the top bar fades as you scroll.
Loop Count Viewing
The app can reveal the number of times a video has been looped on Vine and via embeds across the Web, on the top right of each video.
Video Recording
What’s New section of Vine’s Google Play listing said that there will be a high recording quality boost on the app. It is set to be available soon for iOS devices via the App store.
