NBA 2K14 launched in PHL

MANILA, Philippines – The latest installment of the critically acclaimed sports video game franchise NBA 2K entered the Philippine video game market Tuesday to much fanfare, touting itself as the king of all basketball video games.

NBA 2K14, according to official Philippines distributor X-Play, is once again taking pride in its reputation as one of the best sports video games today.

Four-time Most Valuable Player LeBron James graces the cover of NBA 2K14, which is currently ported on Playstation 3, XBox 360 and PC. A version of the game will likewise be available for next-generation consoles Playstation 4 and XBox One, which are set to hit stores sometime in November.

In Tuesday’s official launch at Bugsy’s Restobar in Bonifacio Global City, X-Play general manager Ron Aquino said NBA 2K14 boast more features and even better graphics than its predecessors. A handful of media members and tech bloggers had the chance to try the game out during the launch.

The game is now available at retail stores nationwide.
