MANILA, Philippines - PLDT Telpad makes a big splash with an Android-powered tablet landline that offers unlimited Internet and unlimited local calls.
PLDT offers the Telpad Wave 2.3 and the S7-Slim, providing a rich and no-fuss multimedia and digital experience. Carrying an Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the Telpad Wave 2.3 has features that are easy to learn and faster to use plus an interface that is power-efficient and clearer because of its seamless and intuitive multi-touch 7-inch screen.
While the Wave 2.3 has a laser-finish casing, the Android 2.2 Froyo-powered S7-Slim has a sleek and extremely sophisticated design with an 8 GB internal memory. Both models open-source Android platform makes these devices highly customizable.
Telpad allows users to access and send messages via e-mails, instant messaging through Yahoo Messenger or Google Talk, or even download countless applications available in the Android market. Social network and gaming apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Gmail, Angry Birds and Google Maps, also come preloaded in the device. Emailing, messaging, gaming and using other apps at the same time are no hassle with these Android devices.
Running all those multiple applications simultaneously is possible with Telpad as both devices are powered by cutting-edge technology processors. The Telpad Wave 2.3 comes with a 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor while the S7-Slim is loaded with 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8X50, both capable of operating various applications all at once.
Even if the Telpad S7-Slim version is equipped with an 8GB internal memory, the Wave 2.3 has decent built-in 2GB internal storage and both models come with a micro SD expansion slot of up to 32GB_ fantastic for downloading and storing video files and music. Both are also wifi-capable and are equipped with Bluetooth for wireless sharing of files.
Both come with 3.2-megapixel cameras for taking pictures and recording videous though the S7 Slim has both front and rear cameras while the Wave 2.3 only has a front one. The 800X480 display holds up with the system’s improved 3D and 2D graphic engine for a better way to enjoy gaming and viewing.
Another feature that makes the Telpad the best multimedia device is the K-Saya Videoke (Lite Version) application.
