MyPhone: Proudly Pinoy-made

-

MANILA, Philippines - Solid Group Incorporated has been in the retail industry for more than 50 years. Starting out as the exclusive distributor of Sony, chairman emeritus Elena Lim expanded the company on the dream of making a difference in the Filipinos’ lives.

Under the leadership of David S. Lim, eldest son of Elena and president of the company, innovations have ensued. Among the Solid Group’s biggest projects to date is the introduction of the very first dual active SIM mobile phone in the country, an accomplishment for Filipinos, by Filipinos.

MyPhone, the first and only Filipino mobile phone brand that offers dual SIM mobility. MyIPhone currently averages sales of 28,000 to 33,000 units per month. MyPhone is the first mobile phone provider with customized applications and content tagged as “Pinoy Phone” — a software with a gamut of data such as recipes, jokes, and even prayers.

Say Hello

The S Q27 Duo is the MyPhone’s group effort to bring a pretty phone to Pinoys. The group collaborated with Swarovski in combining technology and jewelry and producing a high fashion electronic accessory.

With three Swarovski cubic zirconia stones for the menu and call buttons, the S Q27 Duo catches the eye with its bling. Its swivel action makes the phone sexier than the usual clams or sliders in the market. The S Q27 Duo also boasts the QWERTY keyboard allowing texting convenience and encouraging proper spelling of words.

The S Q27 Duo is a tri-band, dual active SIM mobile phone. It has everything one expects from a regular mobile phone — Bluetooth, 2.0MP camera, FM radio, calendar, notes, and alarm. It also has an expandable memory card slot up to 8GB.

The S Q27 Duo was recently introduced at the Fashion Walk of Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center, Makati. The S Q27 Duo blended with the creations by top designers Chris Diaz, Francis Libran, Louis Claparols, Noel Crisostomo, Joey Samson, Joel Escober and Randy Ortiz. Brand ambassador of MyIPhone is the smart, sexy, and very proud of her Filipino roots, Anne Curtis.

MyPhone has a tie up with the Ninoy Cory Aquino Foundation to lend support to its advocacy of nurturing little Cory’s through a scholarship program that will support the educational needs of chosen young Filipino women.

The CORY (Community of Responsible Youth) Scholarship Program reflects MyPhone’s belief in the ideals espoused by former president Cory Aquino and other great women leaders like her such as Solid Group’s Elena Lim.

The S Q27 Duo, MyPhone’s premier offering from its fashion series retails for only P5,990.
