Globe joins Ironman 70.3 Philippines
MANILA, Philippines - A team of Globe employees are part of the highly anticipated triathlon Ironman 70.3 Philippines today in Camarines Sur.
This inaugural event will yield the top 25 triathletes who will participate in the Ironman 70.3 championship in Florida. As it aims to encourage sports among Filipinos, Globe is also supporting the Ironman 70.3 Philippines.
Excitement continues to rise as the World Triathlon Corporation and its Ironman Race Series take on the Philippines today. Triathletes from all over the world troop to the Camsur Watersports Complex in Pili town to endure the 1.9-km. swim, 90.1-km bike ride and 21.1-km. run.
Seen as the biggest triathlon event in the country, Ironman 70.3 Philippines has more than 500 athletes that will go through the 7.5 hour sports event that will be attended by thousands.
During the event, Globe has set up a booth where anyone can get free henna tattoo and have their pictures taken for upload in their favorite social network sites. The best henna tattoo pictures will win Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid Kits.
