Globe SME website finalist at Philippine Web Awards

MANILA, Philippines - Barely a year after its launch, Globe’s portal for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) — www.sme.globe.com.ph has gained recognition as one of the top Filipino-owned and developed websites. Recently, it it was nominated as finalist in the Best Website Community and Portal Category of the 11th Philippine Web Awards.

Globe SME’s interactive portal contains links to SME resources and tools, local news, foreign exchange, the stock market and government offices. Helpful features of the portal include: a calendar for posting SME events, a business directory where SMEs can upload their company information, a forum that SMEs can participate in, a messaging facility, as well as a search engine

The newest feature of the Globe SME Website is the SME Widget downloadable application, which, once downloaded into a desktop, acts as an easy-access remote device that allows users to access and manage their portal accounts in the website. Also included in the website is the Masigasig Online, a webpage dedicated to the Masigasig magazine, Globe Business’ exclusive print publication designed for SMEs
