The season’s hit list is out.?An exciting revolt is sweeping through men’s fashion. Just take a look at the season’s fashion show at Lanvin, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Raf Simons, Dries Van Noten, and Burberry Prorsum. You will find a kaleidoscope of color from sunny yellow to daring orange, wild green, powerful purple, bold blue, dynamic red, deep indigo and wintry pastels.
A MAN IN COLOR IS FRESH AND FORWARD
Pantone, the global authority on color for more than 20 years, features the most prominent hues for fall 2014. A unisex color palette has become a definitive trend in recent seasons and this fall 2014 is no exception. You will see an exotic red (Sangria) and part of the cool-blue spectrum of reds (Aurora Red) paired with browns like Cognac. Misted yellow also looks good with Cognac. Pantone’s colors of the year Radiant Orchid and Cobalt Blue are color statements of the season — prevalent everywhere from sportswear to day and night suits, shoes and other men’s accessories. Combine Royal Blue and Cypress Green with a modern silvery shade, Aluminum. These are staple hues for outerwear and formalwear.
