The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Mountain Hardwear, a leader in premium outdoor apparel, equipment and accessories, recently gathered outdoor enthusiasts and gear nuts at the Ayala TriNoma for the launch of “Extreme Essentials” outdoor gear.

Highlighted by an exhibit of Mountain Hardwear products and other brands such as RugGear, Maglite, Gerber, NOA, Nalgene, Columbia Sportswear, Canon and Otter Box, guests experienced the outdoors through interactive displays of the featured brands’ award-winning outdoor equipment and advanced mountaineering products.

Among the hands-on displays was a demonstration of Mountain Hardwear’s Epic pants and jacket via a “shower booth” installation.  â€œThe Epic jacket and pants serve as fully waterproof shells that keep rain or moisture on the outside. The breathable DryQ membrane allows the wearer’s body vapor to escape, so they’ll stay dry on the inside, too,” said Arian Zaragoza, Mountain Hardwear brand associate.

Since opening its first store here at TriNoma in July 2012, the brand’s artisan craftsmanship has attracted aspirational explorers through its award-winning lightweight Spinoza jacket, Direkt 2 alpine tent, Summit Rocket 40 trekking backpack, Ghost Whisperer anorak and Hoopla 4 tent.

Mountain Hardwear is  exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Primer Group of Companies.
