MANILA, Philippines - Fashion innovator and style leader Marc Jacobs carried over his soft spot for the Seventies in his diffusion line’s 2011 fall-winter collection. While the color palette reflected the disco era’s favorite autumn shades such as mustard yellow, burnt orange, chocolate brown, with a few touches of navy blue, turquoise and green, the silhouettes were decidedly Forties-style.

Various kinds of textures like velvet, glittery lurex and corduroy were also present. Metallic leather jackets gave this collection a rocker edge.
