Lacoste goes existentialist
MANILA, Philippines - This season, Lacoste unfolds a winter wardrobe in three acts.
The first act is inspired by collegiate uniforms and junior sportswear, referencing both the 1950s American campus and an “existentialist” wardrobe.
The second act is psychedelic classic. Optimistic and chic, imagine a meeting between Jean-Luc Godard’s retro cool of Breathless or future look of Alphaville crossed with flashy Fiorucci colors.
The final act revisits the codes of easy and relaxed elegance you would encounter and expect during an English weekend (with a decidedly French twist, of course).
