Chateau Siran Filipino team in the Medoc Marathon
MANILA, Philippines - Chateau Siran Team makes it for the second year to the Medoc Marathon with a group of 20 passionate runners coming from the Philippines, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Joining the Philippines 2011 team are Rio de la Cruz, Kim Atienza, Andy Aguila, Leica Carpo, Mathew Nyren, Don Santos, Dorothy Santos, Vic Santos and Michelle Siy Yap.
Created in 1984 and known as the world’s longest marathon, the Medoc goes through 59 vineyards, among them the prestigious Chateau Latour, Chateau Beychevelle, Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Chateau Pichon Longueville, Chateau Lynch-Bages and Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Most runners dress in costume according to the annual theme — this year the Chateau Siran team will be dressed as the “Angry Birds.”
