MANILA, Philippines - Sports super-brand Reebok is revolutionizing the footwear industry with the launch of its newest product — the ZigTech. Tagged as the “energy drink for your feet,” ZigTech showcases state-of-the-art technology that conserves and returns energy back to the athlete. The unique zigzag geometry of the sole delivers a wave of energy along the length of the shoe, propelling the wearer forward.
This one-of-a-kind outsole is proven to reduce wear and tear in key leg muscles (particularly the shins and hamstrings) by up to 20 percent — allowing the wearer to train harder and longer while minimizing the risks of injury.
The lightweight and flexible bottom unit, combined with a minimalist upper and whisper-quiet ground contact, also contributes to making ZigTech the new standard in running and training footwear. It also provides the necessary support and stability required for conditioning-based training activities.
To prove its superior performance, the Zig was tested under rigorous conditions back in the Reebok training labs, and was proven to work effectively even after an accumulated 17,500 hours of running and 27,000 hours of casual activities.
Launched recently at Reebok Trinoma — ZigTech is now available at Reebok concept stores in Megamall, TriNoma and Festival Mall; The Shoe Shop, Rockwell; and Royal Sporting House, Robinson’s Ermita.
